APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #16-0341 FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY S2 SECURITY ACCESS CONTROL EQUIPMENT
Description
Bids to provide 'Safety and Security S2 Security Access Control Equipment' were received from two vendors on July 9, 2015. The bid of Commercial Fire & Communications, Inc. was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications. This bid is for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the School Safety and Security Department.
Recommendation
That the bid of Commercial Fire & Communications, Inc. for 'Safety and Security S2 Security Access Control Equipment' in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00, be approved as presented.
